GGBA Churches working together
July presented our churches with a great opportunity to work together. During the week of July 11-15, the Puppet Ministry of Liggett Baptist Church, Harlan, KY came to Gaston County with an awesome presentation of the Gospel. Through their ministry our churches worked together to reach their respective communities. The KY Puppet Ministry visited the following areas and churches:
Second Baptist, Cherryville
Mt. Zion, Cherryville
East Baptist, Gastonia
First Baptist (Summer Enrichment Program), Dallas
Beulah Land/First Baptist, Bessemer City
Rosewood Assisted Living, Gastonia
Stonecroft Apartments, Gastonia
Unity Baptist/Mt. Zion Restoration, Gastonia
Mission Gaston at Highland Hills, Gastonia

Many decisions were made to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a result of churches working together to build the Kingdom here on earth.
We are thankful for the hard work and dedication of all our churches that participated and to Jennifer Jeffers, director of the puppet ministry for coming and sharing the Gospel in a very unique way.
Special thanks goes to Second Baptist Church, Cherryville for opening the doors of their mission house and providing great hospitality for the youth and adults during their stay with our association.

Matt Pennington, Student Pastor, Bethlehem, Gastonia, had two teams in the field, during the week of July 12th, one at Mission Gaston at Highland Hills and Hickory Grove Baptist Church area providing Vacation Bible School for both areas. Thank you, Matt and Bethlehem for the outstanding work of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
